Short Messages
Short messages is the message we send to someone in order to give information about something.
(Pesan singkat adalah sebuah pesan yang kita kirimkan kepada seseorang untuk memberikan informasi tentang sesuatu)
Do you ever see on the movie someone put message on refrigerator?
(Pernahkah kalian melihat di sebuah film, seseorang menempelkan pesan pada kulkas?)
Like this below:

(Kita akan belajar untuk membuat satu juga!)
Several things we need to understand are:
(Beberapa hal yang harus kita pahami adalah: )
- This is short message, so make it as short as we can but keep full of information.
- (Ini adalah pesan singkat, jadi buatlah seringkas mungkin namun tetap penuh dengan informasi)
- We should be careful on punctuation too! So not missunderstanding.
- (Kita harus perhatikan tanda baca juga! Jadi informasinya tidak salah)
Example of bad message:
(Contoh dari pesan yang buruk: )
mom i’m sorry i did not have time to wash the dishes before i went to school this morning i’ll do it when i get home this afternoon
It so confusing right?
(Sangat membingungkan kan?)
Here is the correct one:
(Ini yang seharusnya: )
Mom, I’m sorry I did not have time to wash the dishes before I went to school this morning. I’ll do it when I get home this afternoon.
Notice Board
Do you know notice board?
(Tahukah kalian papan pengumuman atau papan tanda?)

(Perhatikan gambar kedua diatas)
The board told that No Pets On School Grounds, it is mean we are not allowed to bring our pet to school.
(Papan tersebut mengatakan “No Pets On School Grounds”, artinya kita tidak boleh membawa hewan ke sekolah)
So, if you found the notice board wherever you are, better read and follow the instruction ok?
(Jadi, jika kalian menemukan papan informasi dimanapun kalian berada, lebih baik baca dan ikuti instruksinya, ok?)
